The Architects Have Spoken: Lahore Deserves Better Workspaces
Lahore is changing, businesses are growing, its’ industries are evolving, and its workplaces are beginning to look very different from what they once did.
The conversation around offices is no longer limited to desks, chairs and square footage. Architects, designers and business leaders are thinking more carefully about how people work, meet, focus, connect and move through a space.
And one thing is becoming increasingly clear:
Lahore deserves better workspaces.
That conversation took center stage as Global Office World opened the doors to its new Lahore Experience Centre at College Road, Gulberg 2; bringing its workplace solutions closer to the businesses and design community shaping the city.
A New Workplace Conversation
The launch brought together architects, designers, industry leaders and business decisionmakers for an evening centered around one important question: what should the modern workplace look like?
The answer is not one-size-fits-all.
A contemporary office needs spaces for focused work, meaningful meetings, teamwork, privacy and everything that happens in between. It needs furniture that works with people, not against them. And it needs design choices that balance comfort, function and the realities of modern business.
That is where the Experience Centre comes in.
Rather than simply displaying products, the space allows people to experience workplace solutions in context — to sit, explore, compare and understand how different elements can come together to create a better working environment.
Four Brands. One Workplace Destination.
One of the defining features of the Experience Centre is the presence of four brands under one roof: Global Series, Steelcase, Kano and Palace.
Each brings its own product features, comfort and approach to the workplace.
Together, they create a broader landscape of possibilities for businesses, architects and designers. Instead of viewing workplace furniture as isolated pieces, visitors can explore how different solutions work together as part of a complete environment.
For architects and designers, that opens up another layer of creative possibility.
For businesses, it means being able to see and experience solutions before making decisions that will shape their workplaces for years to come.
Why Lahore, Why Now?
Lahore has always been a city of ideas, ambition and enterprise.
As its business community grows, so does the need for workplaces that reflect the people working inside them.
The next generation of offices will not simply be places where people spend eight hours a day. They will need to support different working styles, encourage interaction when it matters, provide privacy when it is needed and make people feel comfortable enough to do their best work.
That shift is already happening.
The Lahore Experience Centre is Global Office World’s response to that changing conversation — a physical space where businesses and the design community can explore what better workplaces could look like.
Because the future of work is not something that happens somewhere else.
It is being shaped here, too.
